Crime and Punishment

Studying the topic of crime and punishment has helped me explore complex ideas about justice, responsibility, and human behavior through the English language. I’ve learned vocabulary related to law, society, and ethics, but also developed the ability to express opinions about real situations.

Discussing these topics in English encouraged me to think critically about fairness — why people commit crimes, how society reacts, and whether punishment really helps people change. Reading news or stories about crime also showed me the importance of empathy and prevention, not only punishment.

Learning English through this theme made me realize that language is a bridge to understand global issues. It allows us to express values, compare systems, and reflect on what kind of world we want to build.
