Learning English has not only improved my communication skills, but also my ability to think critically about the information I receive every day. Through reading news articles, watching videos, and discussing global issues in English, I’ve learned to analyze ideas instead of just accepting them.
Media literacy has taught me to question sources, identify bias, and understand different points of view. When I read an article or watch a report in English, I try to recognize the purpose behind the message — who is speaking, and why.
This pro
cess has made me more aware and responsible as a learner and as a citizen. Critical thinking allows me to connect language learning with real life, making English not only a tool for communication, but also for understanding the world in a more thoughtful and ethical way.
